Eating Solids

Henry has begun eating solids. He's had: rice cereal, green beans, peas, squash and sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes are his favorite!

Henry Sits...

Sort of. He's at least able to balance long enough for a picture.

Boo Bama

I had the inauguration on last week and was watching it with the boys. The first shot of Obama was him walking in the Capitol, on his way out. As soon as they showed him, Patrick jumped-up, pointed at the tv and yelled "BAMA!" It was too cute. From then on he realized that perhaps his name wasn't Bama (seemed to him there might be something missing) so he now calls him BooBama.

I've had a lot of people tell me that Henry doesn't look like Jack or Patrick.Well, guess who he DOES look like...

Hank the Tank!!!

Henry went in for his 4 month check-up today. He weighs 18 lbs 5 oz and is 26 inches long. That's huge! Just for comparison - Jack weighed 20lbs at his 1 YEAR check-up! Henry and Patrick wear the same size diaper! Its crazy!

Jack and Patrick went to the Dentist today. They LOVE the dentist. As soon as we had them out of the car they were running for the front door of the office screaming "DENTIST!" they were so excited. Patrick hopped up in the chair all by himself and let them clean away. I was really impressed (and so were they).

Cisco...

Today we found out that Cisco has bone cancer. She has two large tumors in her jaw. We had them give her a shot of pain meds, but we were told that she only has about 4-6 weeks left. This was a big surprise to us (we took her in for a grooming and that's when they found the tumors). We are just going to give her as much love as we can over the next few weeks and pray that God can make this as painless as possible for her. She is such a great cat. Even with 3 rowdy boys, she has never once even hissed at them. We told Jack, but he really doesn't understand. We will keep you posted.

Weekend Fun!

Happy New Year!

We spent our day relaxing around the house. The boys made, in Jack's words: "the biggest snowman in the whole world." I took some pictures, but it was so dark that it's hard to see the snowman. If you can, try to look for his "buttons" that the boys put on. Very Funny.
Here's some pictures of Henry too. Yes, those are socks over his hands. He just won't stop scratching himself (see his nose). I can't keep his nails short enough. Oh well, better to have stinky hands than a scratched up head.
