Strawberry Picking!

We took the boys Strawberry picking on Saturday. We picked over 17 pounds of strawberries! We'll be making some freezer jam a little later today.

Henry is almost 10 Months Old!

Henry is doing great - still cruising around the furniture. He can "walk" behind his little walker.

No Training Wheels!

We finally took the training wheels off Jack's bike and spent some time this afternoon teaching him to ride his bike. Lots of falls and he still needs a lot of practice, but he's getting there. He had a lot of fun and was so proud of himself (of course we were pretty proud of him too)!

Henry is 9 Months Old!

Henry had his 9 Month check-up today. He is 30.5" tall (90% for height) and 22 lbs 7 oz (75% for weight) - even with all of his crawling, he is still a big boy (I thought all of the exercise would have thinned him out a little).

The Doctor told me today that because his eyes are still brilliant blue at 9 months, he will probably keep them. She said most babies whose eyes turn, start getting grey or a little murky by now (of course there's always the exception). It looks like we're going to have 3 red-headed boys with brown, hazel and blue eyes. Henry is also starting to get curls.

Henry's latest trick is pulling-up and "cruising" around the furniture. He has a little table that he loves to pull-up on and play with. He's an early crawler compared to Patrick & Jack and I'm afraid he might walk in the next few months too - he wants in on the big brothers' action!

He says a lot of "da da da da" right now and loves to clap & wave good-bye. He is just growing up way too fast.

Jack's 5th Birthday Party...

We had a Construction Theme party for Jack today & we had a blast! Joe's idea to rent a bouncy house turned out to be the hit of the party! We had 14 kids at our house (yikes!) but we had a lot of help from our good friends Issac & Katie. The weather was perfect - no rain, but not too much sun either - just warm enough to be comfortable outside. I still can't believe our baby is 5! Where has the time gone?
